Fab ‘n’ Funky Challenge Entry and DT application

Had a lovely day today visiting my mum and got back home with an idea in my mind to make some birth announcement cards for my friend who is due in the next few months..

I knew I wanted a stork on the cards and for them to be in neutral colours because I don’t know if she’s having a boy or girl. 

As I was making the cards, I thought about making a little gift bag to put them in instead of just wrapping them in raffia like I was intending to hehe. This is what I came up with. Now, call me big headed but I’m really, really pleased with them and am entering them into the Fab ‘n’ Funky challenge (I think, they’re fab and the stork is pretty funky!) hehe. I am also applying to be on the design team.

Although you can only see four cards in the picture, there are actually five of them. I won’t show you the insert just in case the mother-to-be happens across my blog! (hence the slight evasiveness in the first paragraph!) hehe.

If I remember tomorrow (and can recall how I made it!) I will put some instructions on how to make the gift bag.
